The Disposable closed suction catheter is intended for the removal of secretions in the lower respiratory tract in patients receiving prolonged mechanical ventilation. This filter-protected system connects to the artificial airway (Endotracheal or Tracheostomy tube) and the ventilation circuit. It is designed for use over 24 or 72 hours, depending on clinical requirements.
